The Filipino essays A typical Filipino Family is known for their close ties. Their relationship with each other is so close that they almost do not want to be apart from each other. That is why it is common to them having extended families. The lolo, lola and some titas and titos stays with the family. They also love doing things together. They eat together, pray together, etc. they also love celebrating especial occasions like birthdays, Christmas, etc together. Every member of the family is helping for the good of their family. Usually, the father provides income to the family while the mother stays at home to do the chores and tend to the kids. And it is also the childrens responsibility to help their parents. The Filipino Education is of 3 levels. The elementary, which has 6 grades; the secondary, which has 4 years, and college level. The range of college depends on the course and on whether he/she will continue for masters and doctorate. There are public and private schools in which you can easily see the difference when it comes to standard and quality. There are very few classrooms, books and other facilities in most of the public schools. Most of the tables and chairs are out of order and not functioning well. Some books are not updated. They dont have facilities like microscope, computer, etc. There are also schools for bright and deserving students. Like science high schools and school for the arts and UP. Scholarships are also granted to those who deserves it. Most of the Filipinos are Roman Catholic. When it comes to religion, most of the Filipinos are religious. Most of them, particularly the old ladies, go to church every Sunday. And some of them are even going to church everyday.
